Return policy and right of withdrawal

Your right of withdrawal (14 days)

You may withdraw from your online order within 14 calendar days, without giving any reason and without any penalty.

The 14-day period starts on the day you, or a person you have named (other than the carrier), take physical possession of the products. If you ordered several products that are delivered separately, it starts when you receive the last one.

To meet the deadline, it is enough to send us your withdrawal notice before the 14-day period expires.

How to withdraw

Tell us clearly that you are withdrawing from the contract, using any of the channels below. You may use the model form further down this page, but using it is optional. Please keep proof that you sent your notice.

• From your account (customers with an account only): open your order under Account → Orders and use the “Request a return” button, available for delivered orders.

Returning the products

After you notify us, send the products back to us without undue delay and no later than 14 days after you told us you are withdrawing. The deadline is met if you ship the products before those 14 days expire.

Please contact us before shipping so we can give you the return address and, where possible, send the products in their original packaging together with your proof of purchase.

You bear the direct cost of returning the products, unless we have agreed in writing to bear it.

You may handle and inspect the products only as much as is needed to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning, as you would in a shop. You are liable only for any loss in value of the products resulting from other handling.

Refund

We refund all payments received from you, including the cost of the original standard delivery, without undue delay and no later than 14 days after we are informed of your decision to withdraw.

We refund using the same payment method you used for the order, at no cost to you, unless you expressly agree to another method. For orders paid on delivery (cash on delivery), we refund by bank transfer to the account you give us.

We are not required to refund extra costs if you expressly chose a delivery method other than the standard delivery we offer.

We may withhold the refund until we have received the products back, or until you provide proof that you have sent them, whichever is earlier.

Products you cannot withdraw from

Under article 16 of OUG no. 34/2014, the right of withdrawal does not apply, among others, to the products below. These exceptions apply only under the conditions set by law; if you are unsure about a product, contact us before ordering.

• products made to your specifications or clearly personalised — for example, foam cut to the custom dimensions you specify in our custom foam request;
• sealed products that cannot be returned for health or hygiene reasons, if you broke the seal after delivery (for example, a product delivered in sealed hygiene packaging whose seal you have broken).

Faulty products and the legal guarantee

Separately from the right of withdrawal, you are protected by the legal guarantee of conformity under OUG no. 140/2021: if a product does not conform to the contract, you are entitled, under the conditions set by law, to have it repaired or replaced, to a price reduction, or to terminate the contract. The legal guarantee period is at least 2 years from delivery.

The legal guarantee is independent of the 14-day right of withdrawal and is not affected by the exceptions above. If a product arrives damaged or does not match your order, contact us at akramconfort@gmail.com or 0728198886 with your order number and, if possible, photos.

Complaints and dispute resolution

You can send any complaint to akramconfort@gmail.com or 0728198886; we will try to resolve it amicably.

You can also contact the National Authority for Consumer Protection (ANPC) and use its alternative dispute resolution (SAL) services.
