Cookie policy
Last updated: 15 October 2026
Cookies are small files stored in your browser. We also use similar technologies (such as the browser's local storage) and, for simplicity, call them cookies too.
1. Legal basis
Storage strictly necessary to provide the service you asked for does not need consent. Analytics and marketing cookies are used only with your prior consent, under Law no. 506/2004 and the GDPR.
2. Necessary cookies (no consent needed)
They make the store work and cannot be switched off:
- sign-in: a session token in your browser's storage (session storage or, if you choose “Stay signed in”, local storage);
- the cart of visitors without an account: an identifier in local storage;
- your theme preference for the site, in local storage;
- your cookie choice (“akram_cookie_consent”), in local storage.
3. Analytics cookies (only with consent)
They help us understand, in aggregate, how the site is used. We use Google Analytics 4:
- _ga and _ga_* (Google) — identify a browser pseudonymously for statistics; duration: up to 2 years.
4. Marketing cookies (only with consent)
They measure how well ads work and let us show relevant offers:
- _fbp and _fbc (Meta Pixel) — duration: about 90 days;
- _gcl_au and _gcl_aw (Google Ads) — duration: about 90 days.
5. How to manage your choice
On your first visit we ask for your choice in a banner; you can refuse optional cookies as easily as you accept them. You can change your choice at any time from “Cookie settings” in the site footer. You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings; withdrawing consent does not affect processing carried out before the withdrawal.
Privacy policy6. Third parties
Analytics and marketing cookies are set by Google and Meta, which process them under their own privacy policies. The durations above are indicative and may be changed by those providers.
7. Changes
We may update this policy. The date of the last update is shown above.
